a brief introduction:
Professors Tom Robinson and Hillary Rodriges have been colleagues at the University of Lethbridge for almost all of their academic careers. Both received thier PhD in Religious Studies from McMaster University, with Robinson majoring in Western Religions and Rodrigues in Eastern Religious, though McMaster required that students do a minor in the area not their major. Robinson and Rodrigues have team-taught the World Religions courses for a number of years and have committed themselves to producing useful resources for first-year classes—attractive, rich in content, and jargon-free. Part of their work has been the writing of a World Religions introductory textbook as well as a World Religions Reader. They have also worked to develop material to promote the Religious Studies Department at the University of Lethbridge.
They are making their work available to our colleagues in other institutions.
Please check out their books. They have a number of monographs and textbooks in their specific fields (Hinduism from Rodrigues and Christianity from Robinson).
