We are in the process of designing a new and extensive database of maps for use in teaching religious studies and history. These maps will begin to appear here soon, but in the meantime we have a link to a set of older Powerpoint® and Keynote® maps that we have used over the years.
For a sense of what the new maps will look like, see the map of east Asia below. The map shows only how the background will look. Our maps will have features such as political boundaries, cites, temple sites, etc. We will also have available blank maps (as in the map image below) that will allow instructors to enter whatever data suits their particular needs.
